ROMA33 — Restaurant in Verona

OMG - smiling waiters who did not make you feel like you were imposing upon them! Traveling in Europe for 3 months, spending the bulk of that time in Sicily and Italy, we've eaten great meals - but never felt as appreciated as at VIAROMA33. Located across the street from Castelveccio, it is in a prime location to be appreciated every tourist. I had the chicken curry with jasmine rice; my wife had the tagliella pasta with meat sauce; and we shared a mozzarella di bufala caprice salad. The chicken - several drumsticks and drummets - were tender and skinless. Hors d'oeuvre of fresh raw celery and carrot sticks (IN ITALY!) with dipping sauce as well as chips and salsa. We didn't have dessert but the service again capped off the meal. You normally don't add a gratuity at Italian restaurants but for this staff, I was happy to not only voice our appreciation, but also tip 20% 5 star review? ......

We had to call the waiter, he did not take any notice of us (boy, around 20). Only 4 people asked for coffee and some cakes. He served only half of them, had not written down the right orders. All coffees were not hot. When we addressed to him he behaved very rude. We had to call for his boss. She looked nice but did not act correctly either. According to his behavior I only have one advice for the owner: fire this boy immediately, hè is a threat for your business ! Of course there became rumour about the bill because of all the mistakes. Okay! It is very hard to explain how it felt after you have visited the place. But my word this place, the early morning fresh breeze, sitting out on the patio to get first breakfast on a trip to Italy. Incomes Luca with the most welcoming persona, we felt that the day is going to be amazing. Got ourselves the fresh orange juice, croissant, pistacchio Pan cakes. The freshness of the orange just woke us up! The crispy crunch of the crossiant was just 🫠. Then the Pistacchio Pan cakes, just a bite and we were in food heaven for a few minutes enjoying the delicious bite 🤤🤤🫠. Going to come back to Verona and will certainly be...
