When in Okinawa, one simply must try Blue Seal ice cream—and we did just that at the Depot Island outlet! It’s a vibrant little shop that sits near the water, and it caught our eye while strolling around the area.
We ordered a mix of flavors and the kids were absolutely thrilled. The Okinawan salt cookie and beni-imo (purple sweet potato) were standouts for us—rich, smooth, and unique to the region. The bright colors and fun atmosphere added to the joy of the experience.
It was such a simple yet satisfying stop, and watching the kids enjoy their scoops while taking in the ocean breeze made it even more special. Definitely a treat not to miss...
