Sammy's is the best spot on island for multiple reasons.

The amount of drink options is so vast, you could come back every day for years and still try something different.

Cigars! You can smoke cigars here, and the cigar menu has a solid selection to choose from.

The atmosphere is that of a lounge. Soft music, chess games and indoor voices allow for a relaxing drinking expirence that will keep you coming back again and again.

Service is un-matched by any other spot. Not only does the Bartender somehow know where all of the hundreds of whiskey's are in the bar, he has a story to tell about each one.

Right on the beach. Come in and have a drink and watch the fireworks right outside.

Nothing is overpriced. Normally a bar of this capacity will inflate prices but not here. Everything is priced...

It is a great place to chill, with great music, atmosphere and drinks. They also allow cigar smoking, which is very nice. He did sell cigars, but he did not have any more when I went. He said it was fine to just bring your own cigars. The owner speaks English and Japanese and has an amazingly large scotch and wisky selection. Not only is the selection vast, but he is knowledgeable about his products. Know ordering fine scotch or whisky the cost per glass can be high if prices matter make sure you ask cost. He has other cocktails that are fairly priced, too. The drinks menu is quite vast. I do not drink alcohol so my favorite drink is the spicy ginger ale it is really good. You wouldn’t think you’d be transported to a whiskey bar the moment you walk inside. Beach shack look out front but shelves of spirits from whiskey, tequila, vodka, rum and etc…inside this cozy bar!

It’s a smoke friendly place too as the other patrons around us either had cigars or cigarettes. The bartender was a humble man who tried his very best to get everyone’s orders in, we came on a busy Friday evening, but took the time and care to explain to us each whiskey bottle that we wanted to drink from.

They do cocktails too though there’s no menu.

I would definitely be coming back again if I ever came back...
