The best coffee out of all the coffee places we have gone to in Okinawa, sitting nicely at Chatan American village and across of Hilton, this place is always with lots of customers looking for a fix of coffee, donuts, pastries or gelato ice creams.
There is a restaurant, a bakery, an ice cream and donut shop and a coffee roastery so make it an ideal place to hang around there, we went there daily or even twice a day while we were there so you can tell how good their coffee is.
They sell a lot of cool merchandise like hoodie, chinsuko cookies as well.
Coffee has some flower notes to it and taste even better when I do extra shot.
Cafe mocha was my favourite, with a deep flavour of coffee but balance with some cocoa in it.
Their hot coffee large size is served in the M cup while iced drinks get the L size cup.
We also tried the ice cream selection, comes in approved container not out in the open! Ice cream serving was huge, and we saw a lot of people getting the donuts which we tried as well, the donut was pillowy and not oily while the glazing was divine, mildly sweet even though it looks like there was a lot of glazing. Tried chocolate, lemon, glazed, churros, Beni imo (which is Okinawa purple sweet potato) all of them were good.
They also have a small branch just walking distance to this roastery too and right in the middle of the American village.
Already missing the coffee there as I write this post, bought some filter coffee from them, so let’s see if I can relive the happiness I have in the cold Okinawa with a nice cuppa of...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful coffee house and roaster in Okinawa, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at ease.
The baristas showcased their expertise as they crafted a cappuccino and hazelnut latte that were simply delightful. The flavors were well-balanced, and the quality of the coffee was evident in every sip. It was evident that the coffee was freshly roasted on-site, as the aroma filled the air and added to the overall sensory experience.
In addition to the coffee, I also tried their iced tea, which was a refreshing and flavorful choice. It was evident that the same attention to detail and commitment to quality extended beyond just their coffee offerings.
The passion for their craft was palpable in every aspect of this coffee house and roaster. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, willing to provide recommendations and engage in conversation about their products. It was evident that they took pride in what they do, and their enthusiasm was contagious.
Overall, my visit to this coffee house and roaster in Okinawa was a delightful experience. The combination of a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and outstanding coffee made it a place I would eagerly return to. If you find yourself in Okinawa, I highly recommend stopping by and immersing yourself in the wonderful world of their carefully roasted and expertly...
Read moreWe came here on 18/8 at around 12pm-2pm. The coffee was great, donuts just so-so. The whole vibe was awesome but somehow we ordered 2 large iced lattes and the barista gave us 2 regulars. We didn’t notice until we saw other people holding a bigger cup. Sadly the girl at the cashier didn’t give us our receipt so we couldn’t do anything. But we remembered the amount we paid for so we knew we were charged for 2 large iced coffees. Then came another issue, we wanted to use the WiFi but we didn’t know the password, so we asked a male staff about it. My friend spoke fluent Japanese and we were very polite when we asked but the male staff was perhaps having a bad day, he looked rude and said it’s on the receipt. We told him we didn’t have the receipt and he had that deadly stare and almost annoyed look and just pulled out a receipt from the cashier and gave it to us. We were completely clueless of why he treated us like that. Other staffs were very nice and friendly and had smile on their faces, just that male staff with that attitude and it really...
