This restaurant pleasantly surprised me. I won’t lie I wasn’t really wanting to go but my husband has asked to go every time we pass by so I finally caved. I was highly impressed with their cheesecake lasse. Normally I feel the wild flavors of this drink tend to take away from the classic fruit flavors and become artificial tasting. Although theirs was actually quite enjoyable. My husbands sandwich was pretty good. It had all the flavors you expect in Indian food but in a unique form. I got the white butter chicken pizza skeptical as a girl who truly enjoys the classic curry and feels classics shouldn’t be messed with. But again I was proved wrong and highly enjoyed my pizza. The flavors went well together and again those classic butter chicken flavors were still present in the twist of a dish. The reason I decided to withhold a star is they service their dish with an almost food coloring sauce? Not sure exactly what it is. But I got it on my hand and after washing my hand three times it will not come off😭. And it seemed it was just for presentation. To be quite honest the food is good enough to not need extra presentation. The service is quick and the what I believe was the manager is a very kind, friendly person. The robot delivery of food gives you that touch of classic Japan. And the atmosphere is nice and clean. Overall I enjoyed my experience here. I am glad we came. Our two dishes and an appetizer along with one lasse was around $50. Which is expensive for Japan but not fully bad for American village. I’ve paid more for less than great tasting food. So I can’t complain. I definitely recommend checking it out...
Read moreThis restaurant was fantastic. I've seen a lot of Indian restaurants in Japan, but this is truly Indian and Japanese/Okinawan fusion. I had the tandoori chicken taco rice which was amazing, and the capicola tikka pizza with Hokkaido mascarpone which was also amazing. Staff was very friendly and restaurant including the washrooms was very clean. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an interesting fusion restaurant, or just plain great food!
UPDATE: went back again (couldn't stay away)! This time got the white butter chicken pizza; was not as good as the previous one a little bit too rich without anything to cut through the fatty flavors. Would have benefited from something like coriander or lemon for some acidity. I also got the tandoori fried chicken sandwiche, which was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The fries were also excellent, very crispy and not at all oily. Overall my review continues to be 5/5 across the board, highly recommend...
Read moreWow oh wow! What can I say? I knew I wanted to spice things up tonight with my girl but I didn’t expect this! We got the Thai Shrimp curry (I know Indian place why get Thai?) but you gotta understand, I’m not really into mixed girls but this curry had a beautiful blend of Thai and Indian, I think I found my new preference if you know what I mean. Just like any worth while girl you have to dig deeper to get the full thing so make sure you check the menu, as the Thai Shrimp curry does not come with rice or naan so you have to order that separately. We came in on a pretty quiet night but the rain wasn’t the only thing that got me wet, because I asked the staff Rahul to make me a nice shot to end the night and boy can I say I was pleased and thoroughly quenched. He calls it the Blue Jolly Rancher and it brought back some good memories and helped me make some more that night! You have...
