割烹 七草 — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

Went there for the famous “fish in the rice” pot-dish. While I wasn’t really awed by the dish itself, what I really liked was the enthusiasm with which the staff explained about the dish, and the courteousness. We went for dinner and it was a 4 (or 5) course meal. They suggested that we choose only 1 meal option as the main dish will be sufficient for 2 people and rest of the items we can just share among the two people. This was helpful otherwise we would have wasted a lot of food if we would have ordered 2 meal sets.

We were going to try this houto noodle restaurant nearby and some how all the houto noodle decided to close early.so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was empty, we ordered crab risotto n grilled beef... wife loves the risotto( egg crab soup).. the beef was tender but the portion is small.
