This Lawson is simply awful. I’m a customer who purchased a few times while passing by this store. Knew in advance that it’s a store for photo taking but I was not here to take photo but simply to spend money at the convenient store. While finished purchasing and I did not noticed there is a sign saying no eating in the store, it was my mistake for not noticing, I admit. However, an old Japanese male staff shouted NO NO NO NO NO with his index finger pointing at me, with an extremely loud tone. Just saying NO NO NO would not make me understand anything.
Also, it’s a norm that convenient store is meant for pit stop for traveller, toilet is also prohibited for usage. Now they said you can’t even open your food packaging there. I’ve been to Japan for more than 5 times and this was the WORST experience I had in Japan.
If the staff hated tourists so badly, he should’ve scolded those who are taking picture outside the store without spending money but not scolding legitimate customers who spend money here.
If I can, I would give negative star but Google doesn’t have...
Read moreThis Lawson is located in an absolutely stunning setting, with the iconic Mount Fuji as its backdrop📸. While it’s a convenience store, the real reason people come here isn’t just for shopping but for the breathtaking views. The store’s location makes it a prime spot for capturing incredible photos, and you’ll often see tourists stopping by just for that reason.
If you’re visiting, don’t miss the chance to take in the scenery—especially during sunrise or sunset when Fuji looks even more majestic. The store itself is well-stocked with snacks, drinks, and essentials, making it a convenient stop for travelers. But the highlight is definitely the view, making this Lawson a must-visit spot for anyone...
Read moreThis is the famous now “view restricted “ Lawson that had a view of Mt Fuji. It’s sad that folks can’t have enough sense to not act up in other countries. Fortunately you can still see the mountain from the parking lot but I definitely witnessed a bunch of goofballs standing in the middle of the freaking street for a photo. People would risk getting hit for a photo… it’s crazy. I can totally understand the frustration of locals towards tourists like this. The staff at this Lawson’s were great just like all the other ones I visited. Everything was well stocked and the food was fresh. Can’t wait to visit...
