炭火焼き＆富士山溶岩焼き 達磨ミート — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

Visited this restaurant for dinner after reading multiple good reviews - rating was 4.9 upon visit.

We ordered the sukiyaki rice bowl and beef + hamburg hotplate set. For about ¥2600, we were given 2 tasteless slices of beef for the sukiyaki set.

The hotplate set was terrible as well. The beef was not fresh by Japan standards.

You are also required to cook your own beef on the hotplate in the middle of the table, which resulting in oil splattering all over the table your clothes/bags.

Ventilation was disastrous and when you exit the restaurant after a poor meal, you get reminded straightaway of your horrible experience when you smell your clothes.

The service was outstanding – the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. Definitely a 5-star experience in terms of customer service!
