山間堂VillaSankando — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

Highly recommended! We stayed in the Grand Villa for 5 days and it was just like how it's advertised. Great location, with convenience stores and eateries a short drive away. It was a great amount of space for my husband and myself, and the availability of a washing machine, 2 toilets and 1 shower room made our stay alot more comfortable. We also had ample parking space in front of the villa. It was a welcome sight to see the villa being lit up whenever we returned in the evenings.

The villa is also very clean. Honestly, the villa would be ideal for 4 pax. The TV in the villa also had netflix and we enjoyed alot of down time watching our favourite shows.

I also appreciate the responsiveness of the staff over whatsapp. Clear instructions were given for check-in. When I requested for more towels, I got them within 5 minutes. Thanks Stan!

We stayed at villa C. Check in was seamless - a code will be provided a few days prior for the key lock to retrieve the key.

Booking liaison with Matrix was also a breeze as he was very responsive and helpful in queries.

There were 3-4 bedrooms depending on how you want to use it. The villa is very clean, facilities inside are well maintained and are of good quality. It makes you feel like they are provided not just for the sake of providing something.

There is an electric bbq pit which we made use of. Very easy to operate. We bought food from watahan supermarket and cooked it on the grill.

The villa directly faces beautiful Mount Fuji and it was such a relaxing time for us to chill on the upper deck and admire her beauty.

In the morning, we also took a walk around the the area. It is about 2km from Lake Kawaguchiko.

I will highly recommend families or groups of friends to stay...

Wanted to gatekeep this place but it’s too good to not share. First of all, we got a free upgrade to the premium villa, which is awfully nice of the host🥹 there are so many things we loved about the place: the panoramic view of mt fuji from our roof terrace AND porch, the bonfire and bbq experience, and the well thought out spaces that made every room so functional.
