Renge Ramen Kawaguchiko — Restaurant in Fujikawaguchiko

Order: Tonkatsu ramen, Spicy Ramen, karaage, Gyoza, fried rice.

Food quality: The tonkatsu soup was thick and flavorful. It had one piece of charsiu with bamboo shoots and soft boiled egg with thin noodles. The ramen was delicious and worth going just for it.

The Spicy ramen (3 levels to choose from) we had the lvl 3 it was delicious. Very very spicy but well worth it

Karaage was fried well, it had a really thin batter and flavorful. The meat was juicy! Wish the breading was a bit thicker for more crunch.

Gyoza had pork filling, it was well seared and crispy on the bottom. Dipped with soy sauce and vinegar was quite wonderful. Definitely one of the best items in this meal.

The fried rice was less flavor to my liking however had very good "Wok Hey" which is the flavor developed when flame tossing fried rice in a wok. The fried rice came with a side of pickled ginger and pairs well with the rice.

Quality of service: We were seated quickly and the food was brought out quickly. Servers spoke some english and no issues with ordering.

Atmosphere: A clean restaurant and we had seating in the wooden floor which was a good experience.

CP值: The items were not expensive all items near or under 1000yen. Definitely a great deal.

Reflection: Overall a good ramen shop, I would definitely come back and try their other items like the Tsukemen...

Went here on September 2024. It was around 7.30 and we had no idea Kawaguchiko would be so quiet at night and most stores were closed. We found this place by looking at Google nearby restaurant and we did not regret coming here. A cean, spacious, and bright place serving warm Ramen. It was summer, but it was 18C at night. We ordered Renge Ramen, Butter Ramen, Gyoza, and Wonton. We were happy and full of because of the warm and delicious meal. I liked their wonton the most but their butter ramen is less to our liking. This restaurant is far away from our hotel.My suggestion is driving a car or riding a bike.The environment is warm and comfortable.It have normal dining-table and tatami. I choose a small bowl of Barbecued Pork with Rice.The Barbecued Pork is less but it tastes nice. I eat some noodles. The noodles separate from soup ‘s noodles is more. The soup is bland.It becomes cold quickly.Another one is hot and tasty.Fried dumplings have thin wrapper and more meat.
