The atmosphere is just perfect, no difficult pieces just wood, leather and taking care of the old left behind. We are craft beer fanatics and loved the way of presenting a few of the local beers - easy and straight forward. Would we have loved more? Of course! But we understand thats difficult for a smaller shop. Bar owner was perfectly presentable when need be, little chat but not in an uncomfortable way and if we would have needed anything I am sure he was have gladly be of help.

Underrated cosy bar serving up the best homemade cocktail (with the best Japanese gin) and lemon sours, Japanese whiskeys and locally distilled craft beers. I lost count of the number of glasses we had but we made sure to come back again for more and visited two nights in a row during our short stay in Kawaguchiko.

Wataru is knowledgeable and fluent in English, very accommodating and an amazing host. Overall 10/10 place for drinks and vibes (it’s a century old building repurposed!). My partner and I had a blast and never left the place sober during our visits. Great place to hang before and after hiking Mt Fuji. Come for the drinks and stay for the memories!!

The perfect place to go if you want to have good drinks and chat with friendly people.

The bar is like a cozy log cabin and is meticulously designed. The bartender / owner is super nice and talkative and puts a lot of thought into the drinks he serves.

For drinks there is rare craft beer from a brewery that usually sells out within minutes of release. The brewers were inspired by US west coast breweries and as someone from Washington State I can confirm that the beer is on point.

There is also a good selection of whisky and wine as well as a house made lemon sour which I highly recommend.
