I have big regrets taking my family here. I give 2 stars because the food is decent. The waitress (or owner?) really looked unhappy to be there - she ended up slamming the ice machine and shouting at some customers that "ice over here". On top of this they put food in front of my father in law 2 times which was for another table - very careless to make this mistake 2 times. Finally after everyone else got their order and we're half finished - I asked where my order was and they had forgotten it (actually they claimed I never ordered anything until my wife walked them through exactly how I made my order - then they apologized and offered to make it - I told them not to bother). I have no idea why other people rated this place so high. I guess it's because of a lack of options in this tourist trap town? I doubt the locals eat...

Tasty Vegetarian Soba in a Cozy Family-Run Spot. That was the best tempura soba I had in m 5week trip in Japan.

I came here after reading that they had vegetarian ramen, but that’s not the case. However, they do offer a vegetarian soba with vegetable tempura, and honestly—it was a great surprise! The broth was the best soba broth I’ve had during my trip around Japan. Flavorful, comforting, and perfectly balanced.

The place seems to be family-run, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was good, and the young waiter spoke some English, clearly explaining that the miso ramen has pork in the broth, and that the only vegetarian option is the soba—which turned out to be delicious.

Food was amazing and affordable. I got the spicy udon and yuzu ice cream. No complaints. Friends got other things and were equally happy.

I have to drop a star because of the service. We had a really hard time getting the waitress’ attention to refill our waters. She never did. The next day we tried to go back to get take out. The hours say 9pm and my friend got off the bus at 8. We got there at 815 and asked for take out. They were already closing and would not make him a bowl to go.
