We came here in 2016 and was served by a wonderful old lady. She didn't speak English and didn't have (still doesn't have) English menu. Luckily we have Google Translate which has been a life saver.

We came back in 2024 but noticed that the old lady was not there anymore. But the food still as how we remembered it. The eels were plump, doesn't taste fishy, and seasoned well. The basting unagi tarè was well balanced, not too sweet or salty.

We ordered the whole eel rice set that comes with eel liver soup and pickled veg

We later found out that the old lady had passed away but the son still cooks and could be the wife who now runs the shopfront. Definitely a must visit and as it is not a well known place, there were no...

Manage to dine in here after most of the restaurants closed. Very friendly owner and very delicious unagi rice. The unagi is so soft and mouth-melting....
