Not recommended at all. This was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had in Japan, or in fact in any places I have been to. I don’t mind the waiters or waitresses don’t know English. There is always google translate to help. But the waiters don’t seem to bother to serve foreign tourists. We ordered three sets for three people, which are all raw seafood for barbecue. And we waited for ONE hour. Nothing came except for drinks only. I mean what kind of restaurant would let their customers wait for one hour without notifying us what’s HAPPENING????? We try to communicate with the waiters that our food has not arrived yet. They asked us to wait for ten more minutes. But then NOTHING came after ten minutes. I wonder if there was any misunderstanding in between. Finally, we were so disappointed that we asked for the bill and left early without having the sets!! It was terrible! We made an appointment and it took us quite an effort to complete the booking. This was what we all get? Unbelievably poor service! Definitely not recommending...

The poor experience made me leave a comment for this restaurant. It does not welcome tourists even you are able to communicating with staff via simple Japanese. They provide barbecuing chef service but all seafood is OVERCOOKED and DRIED! And I have been waiting for more than 40 minutes for these weird food. The service is just unacceptable. Also, the price is definitely not reasonable. There are appetizer fee (more than ¥400 per head) and 5% service charge. I ordered a BBQ set for 1 person, 3 drinks, oyster, mushroom, corn, shrimp and clams. The two photos just showed all food I ordered. How poor quantity and quality it is! The bill is more than ¥7,000 in total!

¥680 for 1 shrimp only?! I have been to Japan so many times and this price is really nonsense.

It is really a bad experience to have lunch in this restaurant and it is not worthy spending money on. I will not recommend anyone to visit it.

There’s a lot of reviews about the bad service but it was alright for me because I came on a weekday and nobody was there. To be fair, the number of staff is very low so you will probably wait a lot but the food itself is delicious! I dont think there is anywhere else in Hataka station area that serves raw&cooked oyster at this price! They also have all the go-to specialties in Fukuoka so it’s perfect to familiarize the food in the area 👍 Imagine level 1 tutorial for Fukuoka good.
