A very rare opportunity to have a special time in the city of Fukuoka. Every elements of the dishes are highly well balanced in the world class chefs hand with the most interesting ingredients across Japan.
From the appetizer to dessert, every plates have there own story and you can feel the chefโs deep thought about the real food.
We had about 8 course meal, starting from fish lever, aged Sashimi served with King offered soy sauce, Three different meat dishes with organic salt, wasabi and chefs receipt miso sauces. There were also the house famous japanese first grade eel fish which has a wonderful dense taste. There is more but I will let you find out yourselves ;)
Donโt hesitate to chat with master Okudaira and his wife. Even we were not Japanese tongue, we enjoyed our talk very much and had no troubles to understand each-other.

The beef is among the best youโll find in the entire countryโyet it comes at a fraction of the usual price for this level of quality because they get the supply from the farm directly.
We loved chatting with the chef and his wife, who warmly shared stories about each ingredient and the inspiration behind the dishes. Sitting at the bar was a special experienceโwe got to watch the entire cooking process unfold right in front of us.
This meal became one of our core memories from our trip to Japan. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! Online reservation is needed, and if you donโt speak Japanese, Google Translate works just fine. Iโll definitely be back the next time...
