Restaurant &Grill Nine Doors — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Ordered 5 pcs of “Nine Doors Burger” through Hot Pepper for delivery. Taste and volume were great! I used the “We accept take out, catering, and delivery” coupon. The -1 star were for the following reasons. I considered giving them -1 or -2. They initially told me by phone that they don’t accept Hot Pepper points for delivery payments. They said they can accept the points if I come to their place and get my order myself. (I mean, come on, why would I order for delivery (to avoid COVID-19) and go get it myself?) Later I got an email from Hot Pepper showing that they subtracted my points so I called them back to inquire. It seems they had accepted it by mistake so I just had to pay the balance by cash - which was what I requested in the first place. I wish they’d accepted it from the beginning. The delivery I initially requested was for 1 pm. They said they can’t do it at 1 but they can at 2 so I agreed. They came 3 min past 2 pm. No big deal if my original order wasn’t for 1 pm. Had dinner here. It was great. The locally inspired dishes are the ones to gun for (look for the mark beside the dish description in the menu). The Wagyu beef main was superb- melts in your mouth, balanced with delicate French fries, egg plant & capsicum. The chicken main was very tasty too. For starters, the mushroom in baked pastry pie wrap was gorgeous - dripping with tasty fungi! The bacon-tomato starter with an egg, sunny side up, was engaging & flavorful. They have a good selection of beer, including local crafted beer. Prices are on the moderate-high side to accompany it's sophisticated ambience. For desserts, you must try their Fondant green tea chocolate with vanilla ice cream - power packed flavors in a small package. Delicious!
