An incredible experience for the price, the best hosts you can expect in true Japanese hospitality. The hotel is owned and run by a family of five and has been in the family for three generations. The father of the family and owner of the hotel picked me and my girlfriend up from the train station, the sons took us all over to restaurants, train stations. This is one of the few places in Japan where I have had the option to enjoy Onsen as a heavily tattooed individual. The rooms are traditional, luxurious and very clean and the view is absolutely amazing, the hotel is built into the actual mountain, allowing for an unobstructed view from our hotel room, cherry blossoms included.
