A really welcoming restaurant, very close to the station. The owner was so friendly, corrected our mistakes on ordering (we were going to order far too many vegetables!), brought us drinks very quickly, and then lit the gas barbecue for us to cook our own choices of meat. First class service, and we noticed after ordering, there was a QR code on the table for us to order more drinks and food – this worked brilliantly. Menu is in both English and Japanese. The restaurant does close at 9pm (clearly marked) and despite other comments/reviews, the restaurant does clearly state, in several locations, that it is cash only. The meal was served promptly and was noticeably reminiscent of a warm, hearty homemade meal. Upon leaving, we were met with smiles from both the grandmother and waitresses.
