I last came to Hiroshima six years ago, and at that time I tried the okonomiyaki from Micchan, which was most recommended to me. I enjoyed it at that time, but I concluded that I was not a big fan of okonomiyaki. Upon coming to Rei-chan today with a group of friends, however, my opinion has changed. First of all, the staff did their best to accommodate our party of five—being flexible enough to move a few chairs for us, which is something stores in Japan are often quite pesky about. The ladies who served us were also extremely kind and benevolent. And as one would expect, the food was fantastic. The mozzarella cheese did not taste fake like it often does in Japan, and the mochi was similarly soft and chewy. I will definitely come again whenever I visit town.
