I based my rating on food only. Definitely agree with everyone that the service and environment is wonderful. Food wise, we had the 1600yen Teppanyaki course. Unfortunately nothing stood out. The meal consisted of appetizer, seafood (lobster for us), beef (we had A4 tenderloin and A5 Omi loin), and dessert. The Omi loin was too fatty despite us asking for medium instead of medium rare. Looks wise, it looked the same as my medium rare tenderloin. My husband actually found it hard to finish the beef due to how fatty it was. The food was pleasant but just not outstanding. After having very tasty teppanyaki in Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, to name a a few places, this is definitely not up to par. If you’re a teppanyaki fan like my husband, then I think it’s probably alright to give this a miss, maybe try their kaiseki, etc. if this is your introduction to teppanyaki, then I think the price to quality value is decent. We were fortunate to have 25% off our dining due to Hilton honors membership. I don’t think I would be happy to pay full price.

Exceptional dining experience here 2 nights in a row. Al La carte first and teppanyaki last night. It’s 5 star dining so expect laid on service to the highest level. Food also very high level. There are 3 distinct dining areas. Al a carte, teppanyaki and the sushi bar. So good we will go back tonight and sit at the sushi bar. Mind you we eat at the back street restaurants during the day. Many of which offer brilliant food and service too.

Great Value lunch set at ¥3,800 with rose miso soup and dessert. Definitely recommend this restaurant as taste and presentation of food is amazing and service from staff is very attentive.

Dining at Restaurant Sensui was an experience of pure artistry and precision. Every course of the omakase was a testament to excellence, craftsmanship, and the deep respect for ingredients that defines true Japanese fine dining. The young sushi chef demonstrated remarkable skill and composure, balancing traditional techniques with a modern sensibility. Each piece was prepared with care — perfectly seasoned, perfectly textured, and presented like a quiet celebration of the ocean itself. His attention to detail and his calm confidence behind the counter were deeply impressive. Equally extraordinary was the sommelier, whose passion and knowledge elevated the entire meal. The bespoke sake pairing he curated for me was nothing short of revelatory — thoughtful, nuanced, and perfectly synchronized with each dish. It felt truly personal, as if every sip had been chosen to tell a story alongside each bite. From start to finish, Sensui embodies the spirit of omakase at its highest level — not just a meal, but a moment of connection, craftsmanship, and...

Hilton Diamond members with significant Hilton experience at different properties around the world: I highly recommend SENSUI. My family and I visited SENSUI for the regional teppanyaki Hiroshima experience. Rie-San oversaw our dining experience and did a phenomenal job explaining all of the items and pairing it with a regional Hiroshima sake experience. We enjoyed our teppanyaki chef Andrey who explains his love of cooking and each of the dishes for our dining party. This was also my daughter's 11th birthday and the restaurant did an amazing job making her feel special with an abalone shell, a dessert experience and a few other surprises. I highly recommend the experience, It really helps that the entire restaurant is brand new and the cooking and dining spaces are exquisite. Some dishes we really enjoyed are the garlic rice and chips, and also...
