TEPPANYAKI BAR G.O.D 2nd — Restaurant in Hiroshima

Although I don’t speak Japanese, both staffs and chefs are very accommodating and friendly.

They have menu in English so that makes food ordering a breeze.

Their speciality, G.O.D okonomiyaki, is amazing. It’s slightly crispy on the outside, while on the inside it’s packed with all kind ingredients like cabbage, bean sprouts, squid, bonito, soba noodles and sauces.

All these give you an intense and flavourful burst in every bite.

And I like their highball, i.e. whiskey with soda too. It’s a perfect match with the okonomiyaki.

I had the best meal in Hiroshima here! It’s the perfect place to experience Hiroshimas specialty Okonomiyaki here, although they also have tons of other food. I got the GOD okonomiyaki and love the shiso. You can also customize it by adding other ingredients and add your own sauces. If you sit at the counter you can see the whole cooking process in front of you, although they also have other seats. I don’t speak too much Japanese but the chef was still happy to talk to me and answer my questions. They take card as well!

The staff were absolutely great, despite the language barrier, they went out of their way to help us by providing English menus and even using their phone to place our order (since we didn’t have data for the QR code to scan).

The food was fantastic. We had garlic prawns, aubergine, Japanese omelette and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.
