WOODBERRY COFFEE 鎌倉店 — Restaurant in Kamakura

The wait outside the restaurant was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced, especially for a restaurant that wasn’t even full. There was just a check-in sheet outside without any staff attending it or informing about wait times. After waiting for over half an hour I was seated, only to have to wait another over half an hour for my food to arrive. This may have at least been alleviated if they brought our drinks, but those were only delivered with the food. The stagnancy of the food delivered ruined the atmosphere among my party, which could’ve been very good considering the cozy modern aesthetic and tasteful music choice. My new favorite place in Kamakura! We went there constantly for oatmilk coffee and stopped by 2x for dinner and brunch.

Their hummus and avocado plate is so fresh and their salads are amazing. The staff was very friendly and they even smalltalked with us a bit in English and were always highly attentive and kind.

It has a lovely Californian vibe and centers around healthy foods mixed with American Westcoast cuisine. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans on request.

Next time we are in Kamakura, we look forwards to coming by again 😊

Arigato gozaimasu and hello...

Eggs Benedict were delicious, so was the coffee. In fact, these were one of the best eggs Benedict in my life.

However, the service could get some improvements: People were lining outside, and it took 15 minutes for me to get in, only to discover that half of the tables were empty The food and the coffee took too long to serve. I almost forgot what I was even doing there When I wanted to pay, I had to stay in line again for 10 minutes
