Went there for lunch with husband, we thought the place is full but apparently there are still 2 left in the counter, lucky! Almost half of the people there haven't received their food yet, let alone serving us, the couple (owners) are still very busy making the foods! They are honest though, when we entered they said to us "時間がかかりますよ" (it will take time if you still want to proceed). But honestly, we really thought it's WORTH the more or less 30mins wait! Tonkatsu were SUPER tender and crunchy outside, plus all the other condiments that come with the rice set. Sukiyaki nabe was wholesome, fulfilling, warm and delicious on this snowy day. Ordered the hirekatsudon, and was expecting to get only the bowl, but instead was greeted with this delightful assortment of delicacies. And every part of the meal was tasteful and flavorful, for a very reasonable price.
It’s nothing short of amazing that the two employees working the restaurant were able to make such delicious food, whose colorful presentation is also beautiful, in such a timely manner....
