We were completely mindblown. Where else in the world can you find halal hitsumabushi?! This place is an absolute gem — super rare, and truly something special.
The taste? Phenomenal. Every bite was unforgettable. From the perfectly prepared hitsumabushi to the incredibly tender gyu-katsu, the flavors were rich, balanced, and deeply satisfying. We’ve had gyu-katsu in other places since, but honestly, nothing even comes close.
Service was impeccable — fast, attentive, and thoughtful. The staff took the time to explain how to properly enjoy each dish, which made the experience even more meaningful.
The space is generous and comfortable. Despite being in a central, easy-to-reach location, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, which gave our kids plenty of room to move around and enjoy the meal peacefully.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and to top it all off, the owner was so friendly — even letting us try some sushi on the house. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but this one truly does.
An absolute must-visit. We’ll be dreaming about this meal until...
Read moreThis hidden gem could be easily missed—it’s tucked away on the 3rd floor with minimal signage to guide you. Luckily, we had heard glowing recommendations and made it our mission to find it. The interior is simple and understated, but the large windows offer beautiful views of the bustling Main Street below.
The star of the show is their Wagyu A5 dishes, and every single one we tried was pristine. We had the hitsumabushi, Wagyu sushi, and a bento box—each dish somehow more delicious than the last. The Wagyu sushi was so good, we couldn’t resist ordering it again.
The hospitality was just as memorable as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly kind, even surprising us with handmade origami gifts from the owner. That personal touch made our visit all the more special.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking exceptional Wagyu, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dining experience that feels...
Read moreFood, service, and setting was impeccable. It sounds like an exaggeration, but this might have been the best meal I have ever had in my life. I have eaten at Michelin star and James Beard winning restaurants (and for a time worked cooking at some award-winning restaurants) across the world, but this place stands out. I am a bit bias as I really enjoy beef, but I am truly about to cry after having this meal it was so good — and I wish I was joking. If you can make it to this spot, it is well worth it. I had the leaner cut of wagyu for my entree and was absolutely blown away. I also had some of the a la carte sirloin and was equally as impressed. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to stop by. This is a meal I will never forget and I will surely be back. Words can not capture how happy I am after eating at...
