What a hidden gem! Visiting from Vancouver with a distinct robust Vietnamese foodscene we were not expecting to find outstanding delicious Vietnamese food in Kyoto, Japan. Banh Mi Quynh had us eating our words. We ordered the chicken pho, fried spring rolls and char siu banh mi. I've never had thought of incorporating char siu into banh mis but that was deliciously mind blowing. My Vietnamese girlfriend said she could "eat 10 bowls of pho ga (chicken pho)" if she could.
