We strolled into Kyoto later than expected, famished from our tokyo trip. Walked around the hotel area and stumbled into this little gem. Not only were the owners the sweetest, most kind people, but the food was delicious. The dumplings which I highly recommend were home made and cooked to perfection. Ramened out at this point I had the sweet and sour pork with fried rice. Also very tasty. Washed it down with two ice cold beers "the mugs 🍺 were even lightly frosted". The owner came by and chatted for a bit. Gave us some stickers and and walked us out while waving goodbye as we headed back to our room. Even took a selfie 🤳 with me. If I'm ever back in kyoto I will go out of my way to enjoy another...

A Hidden Gem in Kyoto – Kyoto Seikaen

My partner and I stumbled upon Kyoto Seikaen while searching for a spot to eat in Kyoto, and what a fantastic find! We had the ramen and gyoza, and both were absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor, and we finished everything in no time—it was that good!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and attention to detail made the whole experience even better. Places like this deserve all the recognition for their delicious food and excellent service.

If you’re in Kyoto and craving authentic flavors, Kyoto Seikaen is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back on...

We bumped into a couple outside who overheard us wondering about the food, and they jumped in to say it’s awesome. Thanks to their recommendations, we decided to give it a try!

When we got inside, we were seated quickly, and the woman next to us told us she was enjoying the MaPo noodles, which sounded amazing. So, we ordered those along with Fried Rice, Shrimp Tempura, and Gyoza, and everything was delicious!! Definitely a 10/10!

The vibe was great too! We caught a rugby match with some locals cheering behind us. This place is a real hidden gem! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for some tasty Chinese-Japanese...
