Boo Boo Bakkutteh — Restaurant in Kyoto

With no chosen restaurant, we stumbled for a lunch feed and came across a BKT shop in Japan! Decided to eat here more out of curiosity as Ive eaten many BKT meals as a Malaysian born.

The style is more Singaporean with the peppery taste over the darker soy based version from Malaysia.

Interestingly enough it felt very clean compared to what i tasted before. I feel it embodies the Japanese style where its ‘clean’/lighter. If you had a big meal in japan but didnt feel bloated youll know what I mean.

I didnt particularly like it as much due to my tastebuds hardwired to the SEA way of cooking BKT but it was very clean and tasty for what Japan taste...

Singaporean soup, coffee, and, beer all in an old Kyoto butcher shop. I stopped in to have a beer and ended up getting take away soup for my wife. The beer at Bighand Bros was tasty and I can't wait to come back.to.try the coffee ... But this soup was amazing, the greens were fantasty, and the Chinese doughnut was so good. 京都人なら誰でも知ってる、あのカフェ「マーブル」が、シンガポール料理のお店を出したって知ってた⁉️ 私は知らずに行って、お店の方に聞いてビックリ‼️ でもすごく納得❣️

店内が、ものすごーーーく、可愛い❤️ カラフルな提灯が吊り下げられて、可愛い豚さんの小物がそこかしこにあって、雑貨屋さんみたい！

特に半個室が小さなお家みたいになってて、中から友達がこんにちは。 してるのめちゃ可愛い❤️

私が食べたのはランチ限定の 【バクテーラーメン肉骨茶拉麺】950円 届きますっ！ にょ〜！美味しそう〜❗️

シンガポールのスペアリブ、「バクテー」がドーンと乗っています💥 骨からお肉を剥がそうとしたら… ずるるんっ！ 柔らかくて一気に外れちゃう😳！ スパイスがきいてて、ふわふわした柔らかさ！✨ おいしい！

選べる2つの麺は「ラーメン」をチョイス！ これがめっちゃ正解〜！ まるめんのちゅるっとし食べ心地‼️ 食感もモチモチで❗️ 米粉も気になったけどラーメンにしてよかった✨

スープはめっちゃ食べやすい、優しいスープ❗️ 時々でてくるスパイスのパクチーがまたアクセントになって美味✨

友達が食べたのは 【スペアリブスープセット】1400円 スペアリブスープ、ライス、青菜のオイスターソース炒め、自家製油条、薬味（パクチー、唐辛子）付きの定食。

バクテーのスープはラーメンのスープとは違って、薄味のスープで、最後にアジアの香りがくんっ！ 唐辛子入れたら一気に辛いの来る！ ピリピりひりひり。 味変としてはとってもgood❗️ 本場のバクテーより食べやすい日本的なバクテーです‼️

カリカリの揚げパンはカリカリ度バツグン❗️ スープに浸して食べるそうですが、そのままでも美味しいのでは？って思っちゃう😆
