I am sorry to say I was disappointed. The food was underseasoned. The mushroom burger was inedible. Not enough creativity just serving fries. While I love the idea of homemade ketchup, it should actually taste good otherwise just serve the original stuff. Extremely expensive, my glass of wine was barely two sips and it was twice the price of normal drinks in every other place. I did not feel the generosity, attention to detail or focus on wellness I expected. Salad was tasty but quite small. Add a few extra leave of lettuce! 3× expensive, ⅓ quality of other places nearby. We came for our morning coffee since other places were still closed. We paid ¥1,500 each for a coffee. We learned our lesson—the going rate for some excellent coffee at other places is ¥400–500. I'd recommend somewhere nearby like Söt Coffee Roaster Kyoto. Very beautiful place, delicious coffee and desserts, friendly atmosphere. I don’t think I’ve ever tried better mocha than here! It’s a perfect cafe to spend morning or afternoon with a cup of coffee or tea. I was also surprised by the wide variety of food and drinks in the menu - will definitely come again to try...
