A crowded, but cute little cafe outside of Kyoto station. Stopped in here on a cold rainy day to get a hot milk tea, and was not disappointed. They have seats by the window, so you can look at the people passing by and up at Kyoto Tower. It's a nice little place to wait for your sightseeing buses too. Staff was very friendly. I speak an intermediate level of Japanese, but my primary language is English. They were patient with me while I ordered in Japanese, and we're very supportive of that. My food was great! And the service was very fast. I really like all the cute cat merchandise they have right now. I wanted to buy all of it! But this was a bit of an impromptu trip and I'm on a tighter budget than usual. Although they have a lot of seating, it was definitely crowded at 11:30 in the morning. There is a seating time limit of 90 minutes I think. So, this is not somewhere where you're going to go and work for 2:00 to 4 hours, or camp out during the day.
