I had my first meal here in Kyoto after touching down on Kansai Airport and too JR HARUKA. I was searching for some food because of the 3 hour flight plus I did'nt sleep well last night I'm super hungry. I walked passed this shops and it attracts me a lot after I looked at the menu in front of the shop. I decided to walk in.
Knowing i'm a tourist without knowing how to speak Japanese, the staffs were nice and patient. I was sitting at the bar and looked at the kitchen staff preparing meal was so exciting. They prepared made a lot of effort on each and every dish.
I ordered fried chicken with white and glazed sauce and it was fantastic. There's french fries under the chicken as well and it comes with a plate of white rice and salad. I ended up licking the last drop of sauce in the plate.
This shop appeared fancy but it's not expensive . Overall , great food...

Read moreEmpty restaurant when I arrived. No welcome, instead I had a speech about a return table policy, a table charge of 400yen which is mandatory for a piece of bread. I do not eat gluten. I was by myself.
It’s really painful to see that some places forgot what hospitality means.
I went to a restaurant next door. I ate and when I left Gold was still half empty.
I would have understand a Friday evening with full restaurant. But a Tuesday and a totally empty place doesn’t feel right.
It happens a lot with poor management or no management unfortunately.
I hope they will see this and wake up. I can help them...
