A cozy, classy place to enjoy your breakfast or brunch! This place is a gem with good sets of menus for breakfast, lunch or dinner that is totally satisfying! I started my brunch with a delectable pasta and their famous Kyoto blended coffee. The rich aroma scent is so enticing! And I can't help but order the Matcha green tea pancake with mascarpone topping and matcha green tea au latte on ice! A perfect match for your breakfast with the cozy feel to enjoy your meal! Also, the staff are very attentive and the place is really clean and nice to hang out, there's even a plug to charge your phone!

The matcha pancakes were the highlight. Fluffy, rich in real matcha flavor, and not overly sweet. A must-try for any matcha lover. We also had the sandwiches which were well made- the sauce, meats and veggies all paired really well.

The drink menu is solid too—whether you're into various types of coffee, creamy lattes, or Japanese teas, there's something for everyone. My favorite was the mango slushie the matcha drink.

Best of all, the pricing was very reasonable—especially for being in such a tourist-heavy area. You get great quality without the typical Kyoto tourist markup. The café was also really spacious with good wifi and charging ports. A great place to hangout or get...

Pure comfort in dessert form. 🍵 Uji Matcha Hot Cake – A thick, fluffy pancake served warm, balanced by the earthy bitterness of premium matcha. Truly a Kyoto-style indulgence.
