Best sushi experience in my life so far. Owned by an elderly couple, this place is warm and friendly. It exudes the charm of Kyoto of the yesteryears, tucked away right outside the busy Nishiki Market stretch. It is a small cozy space that fits around 5 - 6 people. The lady shop owner was really friendly and welcoming to us even though we didn't speak Japanese. Her husband carefully prepared the dishes to perfection tirelessly at the side. The food itself was sublime and definitely the freshest seafood donburi we've had so far.

It’s Seafood Donburi and pressed sushi only at here, but the taste is Kyoto only as well.
The chef is really serious cooking, and the lady is doing service friendly.
Since we came to Kyoto and knows this store, it has become our must-come restaurant. The home style is always attached us come back again.
