The Worst Pizza Experience Ever - Avoid at All Costs!
I ordered two "Premium" Margherita pizzas via Uber Eats from Pizzeria Bar Le Napoli. Unfortunately, the only premium aspect of this meal was the exorbitant price: €40 for two pizzas and two portions of fries. To make matters worse, the "Margherita" didn’t even have mozzarella! Instead, they used some kind of strange cheese with a questionable taste that was anything but authentic.
The fries were soggy, greasy, and completely inedible, rounding out one of the worst meals I’ve ever had.
I later discovered that the glowing reviews for this place seem fake. Upon reading other comments, I found complaints about burned pizzas, rude staff, absurdly long wait times, and even rat sightings. Shockingly, the restaurant reportedly offers free ice cream in exchange for positive reviews, which explains the discrepancy between my experience and the unrealistic praise online.
As for the so-called "Neapolitan" experience? The only thing Neapolitan about this place is their knack for ripping people off. A burnt pizza in the oven is a sign of pure incompetence. Real pizzerias know that burned pizzas should go straight into the trash, not onto a customer’s plate.
I’ve requested a refund for this overpriced disaster. This place is an embarrassment to Italian cuisine, and I cannot understand how it’s still open. For the sake of your wallet, taste buds, and dignity, please do not...
Read moreHad dinner here and no fried foods were available. Not huge a deal but there were a couple items we would have like to have tried and couldn't. Pizza was not bad, but about average for Japan in quality and price. We also have a roast beef appetizer that tasted alright but was literally 4 pretty small and thin slices. I have lived in Japan for years and accustomed to portion size/price, but this surprised me and my wife. Initially we tried sitting at one of the "barrel" tables which we quickly moved. No idea who envisioned that as a good idea as it is very awkward to use as a dinner table. No where to put your feet and the size tapers down from the middle to the top. So the edge is a bit far from you while sitting. You can't really lean forward as... there is nowhere to put your legs under the table. We then sat at the counter in front of the kitchen which gave us a great view of the cook and their use of all prepackaged foods. Nothing we saw the whole time we were there that didn't come out of some premade package. Overall it didn't taste bad, but nothing special. However, for the price there are many other places I could go here that would have freshly made food. Probably wouldn't come back for dinner and the higher prices. Lunch wouldn't be so bad as...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Italian food I have ever had. I never rate food this low, and this place had so much potential and good reviews, but this was bad!
We were wondering how this place had such a high rating, to only find out that you (as a customer) would get free ice cream if you write a review on Google, which made sense why it was so highly rated.
Since they had an oven, we expected Good pizza, but were unfortunately disappointed. The pasta was unfortunately bland. The lady who served us was rude and seemed annoyed by the simplest of requests (eg; may I have some salt please?). She’d roll her eyes and huff and puff. Atmosphere: it was so hot!! The fans weren’t on, so I asked the same staff member if we could just turn the fan above us on, and she literally just looked at me and said “No”, and walked away.
I started laughing 😂 and pulled out my hand fan, I was too tired and hot to be bothered at that point.
It was also expensive for such...
