Daishōgun Kyōto Ekimae — Restaurant in Kyoto

Very poor experience. Staff members are very impolite. We have been reminded for the last order hence we ordered another plate of waygu. They missed the order and urged us to pay. We showed the order on the tablet and the plate arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closes. We asked the staff member to replace for a new sizzling plate. The staff pointed at the completely charred plate and said 'this is very beautiful and refused to change a new one. We insisted and pointed at the char. He showed a nasty face and threw the plate towards the stove. I can't imagine any Japanese would behave such nasty. Very poor experience. Strong NOT...

Got off the bullet train in Kyoto and saw this place when trying to find a place to eat. We were seated within minutes even though we were a group of 7. We each ordered a set, added a few extra assorted meats, and a kimchi pancake. Food was delicious and the servers were very nice. They were helpful with what sauces to use with which items....

Food was delicious, service was excellent! ☺️ Menu is available to scan by QR and you order from your phone as well.
