My dining experience at Hiro Beef Kyoto was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I stepped in, the service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff offering thoughtful recommendations tailored to our preferences.

Excellent quality meat dishes - totally unexpected as we had shopped a few times in Edion and had read about the great food court, but did not expect it to be so enjoyable!

Wagyu katsu with curry - what a great idea and a mix of katsu that does not overcook the wagyu and still can taste the fine meat! Curry was also very nice!

Hamburger - very fine and juicy, smooth meat. Coming from the US, we would have a hard time association the word "hamburger" with something so fine, but luckily, we have been exposed to Japanese markets and Wagyu sounded like such a nice idea!

First time in Kyoto. I was actually planning to go to Kobe tomorrow to get some authentic Kobe beef then I saw the sign for Hiro. I have decided to give it a try since their beef is source from an authentic Kobe Beef supplier. Boy! That was a great decision. Hands down this is the best beef I have ever eaten. I have tried some "Wagyu beef" while in the US but none come even closer to this one. The meat literally melt in your mouth and the full flavor rushes down your throat!!
