First of all, I'm from Texas, the number one beef producing place on Earth. So I wanted to get some steak while in Japan, and we came by the mall to visit Ikinari Steak. My wife and I both had the ribeye, which I would recommend to most people because it has a little more fat content than say a tenderloin which is very lean.
My wife had 150 g and I had 200 g and we ordered both steaks medium. They were cooked to order, and I will say the chef did an excellent job. They indeed came out perfectly medium, and they were served on a sizzling hot plate.
There is not a lot of seasoning on the beef, but they provide a bottle of sauce that you can add to taste, and I found it to be extremely good. I also had some rice and I even ended up adding the sauce to the rice and it made it tasty.
In the United States you wouldn't find this level of steak in a food court in any mall. You would expect it to be in a standalone restaurant like an Outback Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse or something along those lines. Though I imagine given Japan's propensity to take pride in what they do means the consistency here is probably greater than you would find elsewhere.
The one thing that is really missing are a selection of side dishes. For example in the US you might get sides of potatoes or fries or several other alternatives. Here there are simply none. But I suppose if you wanted something else you could try one of the other restaurants in the food court for something on the side.
Anyway, we both truly enjoyed our steak and would happily come back here to have another. Highly recommended. Our thanks...

Definitely need to try their other spices and delicacies, or perhaps go to their restaurant as well. It took a little bit of time to prepare,...
