Husband/wife running the shop — the wife was waiting on tables with their toddler on her back, which is amazing. Lunch was a very reasonable set menu — carrot salad, steamed egg, either pad thai or chicken pad krapow, and a drink. Carrot salad was amazingly seasoned and made in a mortar + pestle, steamed egg was full of umami and had bits of garlic and pork — perfect for a cold day. The pad krapow was flavorful and well portioned. The pad Thai was not super traditional but very delicious. Pro-tip: if you crave the sour flavoring of a traditional pad thai, save the dressing from the carrot salad and pour it over your noodles!! We don’t eat shellfish so we made sure to tell them when we ordered — otherwise I expect dried shrimp would have been in both salad and custard. My pad Thai came with tofu, I have a feeling it would have contained shrimp otherwise. Desserts were tasty and generous — highly recommend the coconut custard.

Charming family-owned restaurant with delicious food. This family-owned restaurant is a gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm atmosphere and friendly faces. The young family running the place, including their adorable daughter, adds a special touch to the experience. The lunch servings are generous and cooked right in front of you, ensuring freshness and quality. I highly recommend stopping by for a memorable dining experience!

A small and cosy Thai restaurant mixed with a traditional craft store. We got takeaway make-it-yourself Pad Thai that came with all the fresh ingredients prepared and instructions ready. It was really good value at ¥700 per person, and of course the customer service was superb. I recommend checking the website for updates about opening times because it jumps around a lot depending on the month.
