Malebranche - Hachijo Entrance — Restaurant in Kyoto

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying the Mont Blanc dessert at Malebranche Hachijo Entrance with a cup of coffee. The experience was truly delightful! The Mont Blanc was incredibly delicious, with its rich chestnut cream and mousse glacée complementing the coffee perfectly. The flavors were well-balanced, and the texture was sublime.

Additionally, a matcha biscuit was given together with my coffee, which was also a great combination. The subtle bitterness of the matcha was beautifully offset by the sweetness of the biscuit, creating a harmonious taste experience.

Came here for dessert and ordered the special mont blanc dessert which is prepared in front of you as well as the regular mont blanc cake from the cabinet. Both taste delicious with plenty of chestnut bits; perfect sweetness from the combination of fresh cream and chestnut puree. They both taste similar so if you're after something smaller then go for the regular cake which is about half the price. The plated mont blanc dessert has more elements to it including rum and cranberry fruit condiments to add some complexity to the taste.
