I'm a tourist from Canada who basically traveled all over Japan to find myself the best Okonomiyaki, ramen, udon, etc. Not sure why I stopped in at an Indian restaurant with a peculiar name (Everest, really?) but this will go down as the best meal I got to enjoy on my whole trip.
The flavours, spices, and variety of dishes offered in their lunch sets were out of this world. I had the Everest set, and between the massive nan, hearty proteins and 3 curries it comes with I was almost too full to help my wife finish her meal. She had a similar but smaller lunch set that came with cheese nan, which has literally been the topic of conversation for the past day. Our total was under 3000yen, which included drinks for the two of us.
The service was friendly and efficient. They have an English menu and multi-lingual staff to help navigate your order.

Read moreI've ordered Okawari set that is either chicken curry or today's curry with naan, rice, salad, and drink. They served salad at first which was not too bad. I chose today's curry which turned out to be too sweet even I ordered spicy. It only tasted mixture of cream and tin tomato with some spices and salt. There were fried egg plant and potato but clearly just mixed in the end. Naan was huge and rice was like a half of a small cup. It said you could get refill naan and rice but the curry was already too small compared to the size of naan. I asked orange juice as the set drink but what I got was a 15% juice drink...you can see they try to cut the cost at all costs. I mean 1350 yen is way too...

Being a fat American, however, I have two complaints: The curry dishes don't come with rice, even though they cost 900yen. The curry I got was tiny... about a cup's worth, maybe a cup and a quarter.
I recommend making larger portions and added at least a small thing of rice with all...
