Soil♯ — Restaurant in Kyoto

Food quality, quantity & price: -$5 per fill of water (its not holy water) -$6 per fill of oolong tea -$5 per rice -$18 per half-fish -Yakisoba but its in soup (ur dipping fried stuff in liquids) -2 cheese pieces the size of my nose, $5 each (ok alone this is arguable cuz it was acc good but on top of the rest its a turnoff)

Service: -Each item took 15 mins each -Got our order wrong- gave us 2 fish bowls instead of tempura, rice bowl and another noodle, no compensation for mixing it up -Decievement #1: They called half-fish as fish; when we asked for 2 fish, they gave us 1 fish and split it in 2, calling each half a single fish in itself (imagine i tell u to give me $15 for 2 burgers and i give u a single burger telling u 'each bread + bun is 1 burger bro'. Oh ur not happy? Sowwy english no is my first language 🤪') -Decievement #2: Tea and water prices werent in the menu -Decievement #3: Gave us the bill without a breakdown so we dont even know what we were charged for -$180 for x4 water + tea, x1 cheese, x3 fish bowls, x2 fish (which in reality was 1 but "bAd EnGL1sH")...

We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the sashimi is fresh, the grilled wagyu beef was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The owner was very welcome, we had several diets, she tried to understand our ask about the food and the chef tried to his best to make the food as what we asked. It's a very cozy and relaxing place to enjoy...
