This Starbucks is in a good spot, right next to the Kyoto Station subway underground inside Porta. As a result, it’s pretty busy and can be hard to get a good seat, or a seat at all. If you do get one of the comfortable seats on the wall you can chill for a while and it’s great.

Other than that, it’s a Starbucks with all the good service you can expect at any Japanese Starbucks. It’s open at 7 AM...

A great Oasis of calm and relaxation in Kyoto station where you can get coffee, internet, and one of the super comfy seats if you are lucky. They also added in some tables and counters with outlets attached which makes it even easier to charge wherever...

I went for the cherry blossom frappuccino on a Monday at 1040am. There are maybe 10 people, plenty of space to sit. The cashier spoke english. Store seemed clean. I was served quickly. A good place for Starbucks fans and tourists.
