Sushi Fujii — Restaurant in Kyoto

We visited this small local sushi restaurant in September 2025 after reading online looking for a local sushi joint. This place is fantastic and frequented by locals. It's a small family run store (husband and wife), and is comprised of a 4-stool bar and two 4-chaired tables. The prices are mid-range for expense, a platter of eight nigiri costs ¥3000 (USD $21), which is cheaper than we are used to in the USA. The quality of fish was spectacular. Very fresh. After a long day, I wanted great and affordable sushi, and this hit the spot. Got a rec from TikTok, but from a local and it was definitely the move.
