We visited this small local sushi restaurant in September 2025 after reading online looking for a local sushi joint. This place is fantastic and frequented by locals. It's a small family run store (husband and wife), and is comprised of a 4-stool bar and two 4-chaired tables. The prices are mid-range for expense, a platter of eight nigiri costs ¥3000 (USD $21), which is cheaper than we are used to in the USA. The quality of fish was spectacular. Very fresh. Service is great, which is typical for the entire country of Japan. I highly recommend this local spot for tourists who are looking for an authentic local...

Honestly some of the best, if not the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even had to order more after my set was done bc I was still hungry. Get the scallop for sure (well get everything). Service was amazing so homey, great solo dining experience :) definitely...

It's pretty good sushi, at least most of it is. Unfortunately I got several pieces that tasted less fresh, and almost crunchy, which is weird for what's supposed to be just a piece of fish. This made my experience more negative than it could have been, had those pieces been avoided. The verdict is that I've had plenty of better sushi elsewhere, but this place is ok.
