We visited this small local sushi restaurant in September 2025 after reading online looking for a local sushi joint. This place is fantastic and frequented by locals. It's a small family run store (husband and wife), and is comprised of a 4-stool bar and two 4-chaired tables. The prices are mid-range for expense, a platter of eight nigiri costs ¥3000 (USD $21), which is cheaper than we are used to in the USA. The quality of fish was spectacular. Very fresh. Service is great, which is typical for the entire country of Japan. I highly recommend this local spot for tourists who are looking for an authentic local...

Honestly some of the best, if not the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even had to order more after my set was done bc I was still hungry. Get the scallop for sure (well get everything). Service was amazing so homey, great solo dining experience :) definitely...

Green flags: 1) only non-local in the restaurant 2) menu wasn’t translated into English at all Honestly some of the best, if not the best sushi I’ve ever had. A very charming place, intimate with a cosy atmosphere. The woman running the place was very nice and patient with us as we don’t know much japanese. The sushi was excellent, tasted fresh and had a wide variety of flavours. It was also a reasonable price. Would highly recommend it!

This made my experience more negative than it could have been, had those pieces been avoided. The verdict is that I've had plenty of better sushi elsewhere, but this place is ok.

A very charming place, intimate with a cosy atmosphere. The woman running the place was very nice and patient with us as we don’t know much japanese. The sushi was excellent, tasted fresh and had a wide variety of flavours. It was also a reasonable price. Would highly recommend it!
