We were a party of two that walked in. We were greeted by the friendly tempura master who took the time to explain every ingredient.
Heโs clearly put a lot of effort into writing cards that show each dish in both Japanese and English to help explain to each guest what theyโll soon be eating.
The tempura master served seasonal produce, and this made the experience extra special. I would encourage those few people that left 1 star reviews to really reassess their own behaviours in a foreign country as I have no doubt that their issues would be stemming from within.
An example of this would be being annoyed that the chef wasnโt serving dishes right away. This is an omakase restaurant where the chef prioritises being able to cook the absolute best tempura, at the best temperature for each and every person.
