One of the best meals we’ve had on our trip, I would most definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Kyoto. When it comes to quality wagyu, this is exactly what I was dreaming of having when I think of Japanese wagyu. The customer service is excellent ~ and all of their food is superb. I would go again if I am ever back!! Congratulations on the grand opening too. Friendly to foreigners, felt at home. The beef cheek and premium beef tongue are also must haves besides the wagyu. All of the sauces were amazing as well. Must go! note: it’s funny because we almost made the mistake of thinking this restaurant was on the ground floor so we were sadly disappointed when this other restaurant turned us away. Thankfully, an employee of the actual restaurant above coincidentally got ahold of us to ask if we wanted to dine with them instead which was where we originally wanted to dine anyways haha. Bless.

Yakiniku Sanda in Kyoto blew me away! The “Taste of Sanda” set was a journey of perfectly grilled, melt-in-your-mouth meats, each piece bursting with flavor and showcasing top-notch quality. The final course, thin udon noodles with meat, was an absolute highlight—light, savory, and the perfect way to close the meal. The staff were attentive, and the cozy yet refined atmosphere made it even better. A must-try in Kyoto! Can’t wait to return!

We wanted to eat authentic wagyu in Japan and found this lovely place. We were there a little early but it was fine and we could sit inside. The employees are so friendly and professional and the food was fantastic. I took a mixed wagyu plate and the flap steak on there was the best meat I ever ate. The other types were also perfectly good. 100% recommending to eat here if you want good wagyu.

This place has amazing food, service and atmosphere! It was our first Yakiniku experience and the staff made sure we fully enjoyed it. They gave us really good recommendations and told us how we best enjoy the different cuts of meat.

They had a variety of different meat and also some regional vegetables to grill. There were also some store-own seasonings and self-made condiments that really complimented all the dishes.

The Wagyu was unbelievably good. It just melted on our tongues. They gave us a special salt that was immediately absorbed when put onto the meat and nothing else really was needed for the Wagyu.

The service was excellent. The staff put exceptional dedication and heart into their work. We felt really welcome and at home.

It was definitely one of our highlights in this trip and we hope that more people visit...

Here’s a polished 5-star English version of your review for the Yakimiku Sanda Steak House in Kyoto:

⸻

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute highlight in Kyoto! Yakimiku Sanda Steak House completely exceeded my expectations. The meat was outstanding — tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection. You can tell they truly care about quality. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, and authentically Japanese.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, explaining everything in detail — from the origin of the beef to the perfect grilling technique.

A must-visit for any meat lover! Excellent value for money and a taste you won’t forget. I’d come back here any time. 🔥🥩🇯🇵

⸻

Would you like me to make it sound more casual and native (like a Google Maps review) or slightly more refined...
