I went to this restaurant on June 7 for dinner. Food is good. Recipe is very classic. The beef stew is the star of the night. It is cooked to perfection. The sauce is so delicious that I even use the sauce to eat the hamburger steak. The demi glace sauce is rather sticky and light. I prefer the beef stew sauce for the burger steak. The beef tendon with tomato is also a star. It melts in your mouth. The curry tastes a lot better than it looks, despite its pale color but the taste is on spot. It goes so well with the rice and the flat bread. On cold dishes, the Madai (red sea bream) is great. The seafood chirashi sushi is a delight. The salmon and scallops taste good with the rice together. The steak teppanyaki is very nice. It is a rather lean cut of meat and the meat is very flavorful and it has great texture. For dessert, I think it can be better. I understand the Japanese style of dessert is light in taste but the cakes and mousse are one notch below my expectation. The swiss roll went out fast. It was replaced with a few Cheese cakes, which taste better than others because it is rich in taste and the balance in sweetness. Maybe the budget goes to the fresh melon and pineapples, so the dessert is quite mediocre. I see the restaurant has a lot of ingredients in the buffet that can be used for better desserts, such as sweet potato puree in Mont Blanc style etc. The service is exceptional. The lady waitress was very polite and tried her best to communicate to me in English in a pleasant way. The cashier Nakagawa san is very nice and so is the sommelier who also guided me at the...
