After about 5-10 minutes more groups of people came in that were locals, they ended up getting trays upon trays of food before we even got our first 6 items we ordered. We got the salmon nigiri and the texture was horrendous, it was unbelievably chewy and tasted bad as well. We had about 3 plates each by the end because we had to stop eating due to my stomach hurting, and about 10 minutes later I had to throw up due to how bad it made me feel. We didn't expect restaurants to turn people away because they were too busy (instead of queue), but that is what happened at 2 places. So we walked around, seeing long lines queueing to get inside several places. We stopped at Daiki and had to wait about 5 minutes to get inside, and then immediately started picking plates to enjoy that moment! The selection wasn't huge, but I think that's because the chefs in the back were overwhelmed with the number of people that night, so I don't fault the restaurant for that.
