It’s right beside the market/temple and you will pass it before the Matsumoto castle. They have 2 main menus here which one of them is Matsumoto-jo sundae. It’s a mix of chocolate (i think they mixed charcoal powder or maybe very dark cocoa into it to make it black) and vanilla with 1 churros splitted into halves. The churros is freshly made so it is very good! You can eat nearby the area as they have some seats available. I think overall it costed around 700¥ and honestly, after long walk in the castle area, you deserve this treat.

It was a warm day but I couldn't be bothered to eat all the ice cream. Very friendly service. A few spots to sit and enjoy your snack.
