Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at THE 7th TERRACE with my family, and we were all thoroughly impressed. The restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere—warm dim lighting inside and a stunning view of the Nagoya skyline from the terrace outside.
We began with a selection of appetizers, starting with the Caprese with Aichi Strawberry and Burrata Cheese—the buffalo burrata was exceptionally creamy and paired beautifully with the fresh strawberries. Next, we enjoyed the Grilled Romaine Lettuce Caesar Salad, which featured perfectly grilled bacon—not fatty, but rich and flavorful.
For the main courses, we opted for the Fettuccine Bolognese, packed with generous chunks of delicious, slow-cooked meat, and the Broad Bean Parmigiano Cheese Risotto, which was topped tableside with an abundance of freshly grated Parmigiano by our attentive waitress.
To accompany the meal, I had two glasses of Italian red wine, while my wife enjoyed an alcohol-free beer. The total bill came to ¥14,000—a very reasonable price for such an enjoyable evening.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining...

We had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast at this hotel. At exactly 10am, my elderly father was still finishing a banana he had just peeled when we were abruptly told that breakfast service was over. We were fine with leaving, but what followed was shocking — as we walked out, staff member Wakamura chased after us, insisting we return the already peeled banana. My father had to hand it back before we could exit.
Let’s be clear: we were absolutely not “stealing” a banana. It was already taken from the buffet before the cutoff time, and my father was simply finishing it on the way out.
Does this sound reasonable to anyone? We were not asking for extra service — just a little decency and basic courtesy.
Dining here felt stressful, as if we were being watched for every move. The service is unnecessarily rigid, cold, and completely lacking in empathy or flexibility. Highly not recommended if you value a relaxed and respectful...
