We arrived at the restaurant around 8:45pm on 10 DEC.
Service of the staff was super rude and humiliating.
My family and I were requested to place the order while lining up, which was fine because every restaurant has its own rules.
As we needed some time to decide what to order, the male staff tried to rush us with a not-so-friendly tone, and we politely said’”sorry we would like more time to read the menu”, and I kindly offered maybe we could let the customers behind to go first.
So when we were ready to order, he spoke soooo loudly as if he was shouting at us (and I am sure the whole restaurant of customers could also notice us). As some of us were not very hungry and did not feel like any rice or miso soup, they ordered some hot items (with the options on the menu that customers can choose to get a set which includes rice and miso soup as well, or just the hot items) plus some drinks, while the hungry one ordered a set each. Then the staff impolitely and loudly questioned those two and repeatedly said “no set? No set?” for the hot plates which we did not order with a set.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND AT ALL WHY HE HAD TO DO THIS as we already clearly and politely told him we did not prefer any set for those items, not to mention we had the options written on the menu.
The name of the male staff has a character 川 and I hope in the future he can pay more attention to his tone or voice and attitude when he deals...

My husband got the fried shrimp curry meal and I tried the miso donkatsu - the curry was really delicious, but the miso sauce wasn’t our style. So, I’d recommend getting the half and half sauce so you can try the miso but also have the classic sauce.
I also tried the fried oyster and it was sooooo good. It was the best menu item in my opinion haha.
It’s a good restaurant to try once, but I’m not sure I’d go again. The staff was very pushy for us to fill out review/complimentary forms and write their names. And another staff member tried to steal our table from our waiter.
But their branding was very good and even the seats...
Read moreThe half-and-half katsu is pretty tender. Not dry. The miso katsu is basically miso sauce drizzled over the katsu, so it’s not miso marinated pork. I didn’t have to queue for it, and frankly I don’t think it’s worth queuing for.
It’s good value for the price, but it doesn’t wow me to crave for it again.
Service wise I think the gentlemen handling the queue and food order can be better trained to handle customers who don’t speak Japanese. I find him a little bit rude when taking my order, and he doesn’t direct me to my seat, and it took me a while to figure out he was telling me to seat at the corner. The service of other staff were fine, just that staff managing the...
