This place opens only during the lunch time. You can choose between fish and pork based soups. You can also choose the noodle size between thick and thin. The fish soup is recommended to serve with thin noodle and the pork soup is recommended with thick noodle. I tried pork soup, it's very smooth, not too oily and not too salty. The chashu (pork belly) is normal (I've tasted a better one). Overall, good price with balanced flavor profile. Would recommend a try.

Excellent noodles and broth. The broth is either pork with a bit of fish or fish (mackerel) with a bit of pork. The pork broth ramen is served frothy and creamy and is luxurious and perfect for the thicker noodle that is recommended with it. The fish broth is lovely and comforting, the thin noodles with it are still chewy. Great price for an utterly satisfying meal. The ticket vending machine has English menu notes too.

お店には駐車場があるにはあるけど有料駐車場になってて、ラーメン2杯以上注文された方には20分無料のチケットが手渡されますよ。 麺メニューはこの2種類です！ ◆魚だしらぁ麺 880円(大盛 900円) ◆豚だしらぁ麺 880円(大盛 900円) 大盛でも20円しか違わんのやな😲‼️ 嫁さんは並盛でいいってことやったけどこの差やし…大盛をポチっとな！ L字カウンター10席ほどの店内で カウンター後ろの待ち合い席で少し待ちました。 回転もそこそこよかったので、5分ほどで着席することができましたよ。 魚だしは細麺、豚だしは中太麺の 麺固めでお願いしました。 ◆魚だしらぁ麺(大盛) 北海道産真昆布を主体に鯖節・煮干等を使用し、動物系の旨みを少し加えたというスープ。 一口目からガツンと魚介の旨みが口の中に広がります♪🐟 具は見た目にも豪華な感じで、素揚げされたパリパリと食感のいい蓮根や牛蒡、トロトロの豚バラチャーシュー、水菜、カイワレ、半玉、揚げ桜エビ、刻み玉葱、ネギがいいですね🦐 固めでお願いした細麺はパツンと歯切れのよいタイプで中太麺とは全然違ってますね。 ・魚だし→細麺 ・豚だし→中太麺 これが一番合ってる気がしますが 〝魚だし〟は細麺が最適やと思うけど〝豚だし〟はどちらの麺でもいい気がするわ。 麺量はよく見たらメニューに書いてて、並で130g、大盛で170gと一般的なお店より多めの設定です。 ◆豚だしらぁ麺(大盛) 数種の豚骨部位と朝引き生鶏を炊きあげ、魚介出汁とのWスープで仕上げたスープは〝魚だし〟とは違ってエスプーマのような泡系やね🍜 具は基本的には〝魚だし〟と同じやけど、桜エビではなく糸唐辛子でしたわ。 比較的さらりとしたスープは、濃すぎず薄すぎず食べやすいタイプ。 濃厚なスープを期待してたら少し物足りなさも感じるかもしれんけど、濃さで言うと万人受けしそうな感じではあるな。 プリッモチッとした中太麺は食べごたえもあって、麺単体で言えばこちらの方が好みかな♪ カウンターにはブラックペッパーがあったけど出番はなかったわ。 せっかくやし最後にスープを2種類ブレンドしたけど、これまた旨かったで！😆

Had the Pork ramen with thin noodles. Excellent ramen, once you add the 750¥ price it’s going to be tough to beat. The restaurant itself is off the main tourist path to Nara Park. While we were there it was only locals. The staff speaks little English but there are English menus. Staff was very friendly.

I stayed in Japan for 10 days. As I’m crazy about Ramen soup, maybe had Ramen soup in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nara! This one is way different than all the Ramen i have ever tried befor! Thats amazing souper fresh and tasty! Friendly staff (like all the places in Japan)! Highly highly recommend! I

Best ramen we had in Japan. We got the ramen with pork broth with no topping but it was sooo tasty. We even wrote a small haiku about it: Warming pork ramen Dear Fujimon Welcoming us to Nara It was so good that we will go there for lunch tomorrow again :)
